Solutions Architect – Datacenter, Cloud Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create engineering solutions and articulate technologies to clients.

• Collect requirements and suggest solutions encompassing hardware, software, engineering, and Business Continuity services.

• Offer insights on feasibility, implementation strategies, and optimal execution of solutions.

• Design and configure systems based on technical specifications.

• Develop scalable solutions for Data Center, LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls, and additional network devices.

• Create scalable solutions for both physical and virtual computing (on-premises and cloud) and storage options (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS).

• Formulate scalable solutions for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies.

• Evaluate and design migration solutions from on-premises to cloud (Azure/AWS), including optimization, workflows, processes, and effort levels.

• Draft statements of work (SOWs), assess levels of effort, and prepare bills of materials (BOMs) for projects.

• Suggest improvements or modifications to system designs as necessary.

• Identify, investigate, assess, and adopt emerging network technologies.

• Supervise configuration, installation, and maintenance tasks.

• Document requirements, design choices, and ensure seamless collaboration with delivery teams.

• Educate deployment/field engineers for on-site installation and troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in Cloud Networking, Network Security, Hypervisors (VMware and Hyper-V), Azure WAF and related components, and BCDR (Datto and Veeam), along with SAN and storage solutions.

• Experience in Global Financial Services, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or Managed Services is highly desirable.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business field.

• Current Cisco data networking certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, CCIE are strongly preferred.

• Broadcom VMware sales and technical certification is a plus.

• Microsoft Certified: AZ-800/801 or AZ-802 is preferred.

• Datto: Kaseya Certified Expert (KCE) is preferred.

• Veeam: VMCE+ (Veeam Certified Engineer+) is preferred.
