This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create engineering solutions and articulate technologies to clients.
• Collect requirements and suggest hardware, software, engineering, and Business Continuity solutions.
• Advise on solution feasibility, implementation tactics, and optimal execution methods.
• Formulate technical designs and system configurations.
• Craft scalable solutions for data centers, LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, network devices, computing, virtualization, cloud, storage, and BCDR.
• Evaluate and design migration solutions from on-premises to Azure/AWS, including optimization, workflows, processes, and effort levels.
• Prepare Statements of Work, level-of-effort assessments, and bills of materials for projects.
• Suggest enhancements and modifications to system designs.
• Identify, investigate, assess, and deploy emerging networking technologies.
• Supervise configuration, installation, and maintenance tasks.
• Document requirements and design decisions to ensure alignment with delivery teams.
• Train deployment and field engineers for on-site implementation and troubleshooting.
• Examine networking, security, hypervisor, Azure, and backup environments to design modern or updated solutions.
• Offer migration options and ROI analyses with three-year and five-year TCO perspectives.
• Review backup schedules, conduct restore tests, assess RTO/RPO, scalability, and reliability, and assist in BCDR plan formulation.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience in cloud networking, network security, hypervisors, Azure WAF, BCDR, SAN, storage, and strategic technology initiatives.
• More than 8 years of experience in enterprise-level hypervisor design and deployment along with related networking, SAN, NAS, and BCDR components.
• At least 5 years of experience with Azure IaaS migrations and optimizations.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud networking services.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical or business field, or equivalent experience and proven work history.
• Experience in preparing Statements of Work and Bills of Materials.
• Background in designing data center hypervisors and BCDR solutions.
• Expertise in designing, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring core virtual compute services.
• Proficient in the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Familiarity with or practical experience in SD-WAN and cloud networking solutions.
• Experience in designing and integrating data center compute infrastructure.
• Proficient in routing and switching, as well as LAN/WAN/MAN services.
• Strong knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MP-BGP, and IS-IS protocols.
• Experience with Cisco APIC and Nexus 9k, 7k, 5k, and 2k platforms.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9k, 4k, 3k, and 2k switch platforms.
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE/Catalyst Center.
• Experience integrating network security, cloud, and wireless platforms.
• Ability to utilize scripting tools.
• Proficient in English.
• Capability to work effectively under pressure and engage with senior management.
• Current Cisco data networking certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, or CCIE are strongly preferred.
• Broadcom VMware sales and technical certification is preferred.
• Microsoft AZ-800/801 or AZ-802 certifications are preferred.
• Datto Kaseya Certified Expert designation is preferred.
• Veeam VMCE+ certification is preferred.
• Ability to perform regular tasks involving computer keyboards, mice, and office equipment, including prolonged screen work.
