This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Collaborate with various teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions for data centers, based on NVIDIA's Datacenter reference architecture, which includes power distribution, cooling systems, network architecture, server hardware, and storage systems.
• Plan and oversee the deployment of NVIDIA's innovative AI infrastructure solutions, which consist of complex rack-scale, liquid-cooled compute, and networking hardware systems, within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Conduct pre-deployment planning by reviewing cluster and data center architecture, planning network port mapping and fiber optic cabling BOM, identifying potential risks, training vendors, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Assess infrastructure design proposals from customers and partners to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Offer feedback and recommendations aimed at enhancing performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Execute testing, troubleshooting, and validation of compute systems in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Serve as a mentor within the NVIS team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team members succeed in their respective roles.
• Establish and uphold quality assurance processes to ensure deployments meet defined specifications and performance benchmarks.
• Conduct comprehensive bring-up, testing, and validation to confirm the functionality and reliability of infrastructure components.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of data center infrastructure for NVIDIA's reference architecture and deployment blueprint, focusing on resilience and sustainability.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate repetitive tasks, and utilize emerging technologies to optimize infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and customers to ensure the smooth integration of data center infrastructure solutions.
• Act as a domain expert and primary contact for inquiries and issues related to infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in enterprise and/or hyperscale data centers, with ongoing infrastructure deployment experience, ideally in high-density AI/HPC data centers.
• Practical experience in data center operations or infrastructure management roles, particularly focused on large-scale data center deployments.
• Strong technical expertise and experience across the data center stack, including power distribution, liquid cooling, servers, networking, storage, and pre-deployment planning.
• Relevant certification is preferred.
• Proven technical and project leadership in dynamic situations, with the ability to adapt to uncertainties and changes.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a strong attention to detail and a dedication to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders, including customers, to facilitate productive discussions.
• Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to plan, schedule, and organize tasks to achieve goals within or ahead of set timelines.
