This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead technical implementations and promote the adoption of Chainguard images, assisting customers in securely utilizing open source software throughout their organizations.
• Collaborate with the account team (AEs, SEs, CSMs, and Support) to comprehend customer vision, challenges, and proposed solutions to drive account-level strategies, value realization, and retention/growth.
• Ensure the highest quality of Chainguard Images by acting as “customer zero” – testing, documenting, and facilitating a seamless onboarding experience for customers.
• Work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and establish appropriate prioritization for image builds.
• Maintain suitable account-level architecture and disseminate best practices and lessons learned throughout the organization.
• Be a collaborative team member – share knowledge, teach, and learn alongside the Chainguard team.
• Over 4 years of experience in developing high-performance multi-tier applications, with substantial expertise in Kubernetes and Containers.
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, either pre or post-sales.
• Capable of conveying technical information in both highly technical and non-technical formats, tailored to various audiences, including engineers and executives.
• A lifelong learner with a strong intellectual drive for excellence and a passion for developing solutions to complex issues.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Solid experience with software development processes, practices, and design concepts in software engineering.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
