Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provides specialized technical expertise and leadership in the development of integration solutions that encompass various business processes, platforms, and environments.

• Creates conceptual and logical architectures, system documentation, and risk assessments by collaborating with other Architects within the Enterprise.

• Fosters innovation through the use of API, SOA, and Microservices.

• Defines and shapes API objectives for a large technology environment, ensuring adherence to API best practices, governance of API services, and the delivery of integration self-service enablement resources.

• Assists application teams in effectively utilizing the integration layer and SOA best practices to accelerate the delivery of business capabilities.

• Develops, enhances, validates, and employs tools to boost both the effectiveness and efficiency of architectural initiatives.

• Leverages knowledge of products, technologies, and business to create solutions that address problems at scale.

• Collaborates with third-party vendors to integrate necessary capabilities for the ongoing solution development.

• Conducts proof of concept (POC) and SWOT analyses of technology and architectural practices.

• Establishes credibility through relationships with team members and cross-functional partners.

• Clearly communicates complex technical issues to team members, stakeholders, and business owners.

• Guides engineering team members in software development and architectural principles, patterns, processes, and practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven success and a strong track record in relevant professional or life experiences related to specific job functions, projects, or industries.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field, or 10 years of equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in software or infrastructure development, focusing on design patterns and architectural principles to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

• At least 2 years of experience in a lead role successfully delivering complex software and automation systems.

• Experience integrating open-source technologies in high-volume production environments with Azure and/or AWS/GCP.

• Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture and cloud technologies.

• Experience in developing and designing a scalable microservices architecture and full-stack development.
