Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical point of contact for prospects and customers during the early stages of their journey.

• Collaborate with the sales and product teams to create technical presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.

• Assist customers in designing cloud architectures utilizing Scaleway solutions.

• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to expedite deal closure.

• Deliver clear and persuasive value propositions tailored for both technical and executive audiences.

• Conduct in-depth technical discussions and architecture evaluations with clients.

• Collect customer feedback and communicate insights to the Product and Engineering teams.

• Remain informed about public cloud trends and competitor offerings, sharing knowledge internally.

• Contribute to the enhancement of sales processes and documentation.

• Engage in strategic roadmap discussions and attend key industry events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience (5–10 years) in cloud architecture or technical pre-sales positions.

• Strong foundation in cloud computing, public cloud services, and container orchestration.

• Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Infrastructure as Code, Linux, DevOps methodologies, and application development.

• Familiarity with datacenter infrastructure and cloud-native design patterns.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills in both French and English.

• Bonus: familiarity with open-source technologies, private cloud architectures, or experience as a technical speaker.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to tailor communication style based on the audience (technical or business).

• Demonstrated autonomy and accountability in managing responsibilities.

• Curiosity and a desire to learn from the field and competitors.

• Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, client-facing environment.
