This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with our products to develop new partner or technology integrations, use cases, and automation capabilities for our clients.

• Actively disseminate content and best practices both within the organization and to external audiences.

• Collaborate with the Customer Success team to onboard new clients and support existing ones in achieving their goals and excellence.

• Design and implement production-ready streaming architectures that address customer business challenges while fulfilling their performance, reliability, and scalability needs.

• Collaborate with Redpanda's product management, engineering, and support teams to address customer issues and enhance the customer experience.

• Identify and eliminate technical obstacles to production readiness, performance enhancement, and broader use cases.

• Develop tooling, automation, and other technical resources that can be utilized by multiple customers to enhance their Redpanda experience.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a customer-facing role, directly working with distributed systems technologies akin to Redpanda.

• Proven experience in creating blog content and/or documentation regarding production use cases and solutions.

• Exceptional consulting skills, adept at seamlessly transitioning between internal teams and customers, from coding to whiteboarding, and from support to engineering.

• Proficient in developing/prototyping solutions using various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript).

• Experience with distributed systems such as Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra, etc.

• Solid understanding of security technologies (TLS, SASL, Kerberos, OAuth, OIDC, etc.).

• Familiarity with different cloud providers (AWS, GCP, and Azure).

• Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery principles, capable of designing HA/DR solutions to meet customer requirements and constraints.

• Eagerness to tackle complex technical challenges with a strong comprehension of modern data infrastructures and streaming technologies.

• Excellent relationship-building skills with partners, customers, and open-source users.

• Team-oriented mindset, ensuring that each team receives customer feedback to enhance the customer experience.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, events, or conferences (up to 25%).

• Experience with Kubernetes or Ansible is a plus.
