Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Become proficient in the Orkes platform to guide customers through training, adoption, and the implementation of best practices for their orchestration journey.

• Collaborate with the sales team to serve as a technical advisor throughout the sales process.

• Work alongside the product team as a representative for your customers in the field.

• Assist customers in achieving measurable, data-driven outcomes through the Orkes platform by establishing an architectural vision and identifying impactful use cases.

• Address customer challenges in orchestration and application development across sectors such as logistics, fintech, cyber security, healthcare, application modernization, performance scaling, and resilience.

• Engage with the technical community by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

• Reports to the Head of Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, and customer-facing roles.

• Knowledge of business processes across various industries, locations, and technical domains.

• Familiarity with system design patterns, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.

• Experience with integrations utilizing REST and messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, etc.).

• Proficiency in Java.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn new technologies.

• A team-oriented mindset—success is achieved collectively.

• Experience with orchestration engines or workflow systems (e.g., Conductor, Camunda, Temporal) is a plus.

• Contributions to open-source projects are a bonus.

• Located in Europe, GMT +1 or within 1-2 hours of that timezone.

• Expected travel to clients; approximately 15-20% travel required.
