This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with clients to grasp their business goals and technical limitations, transforming them into well-structured NewStore solutions.
• Spearhead technical exploration and solution development across NewStore, current client systems, and third-party integrations, prioritizing scalability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Act as a subject matter expert and technical consultant, steering clients and solution partners towards effective architectural choices.
• Design intricate omnichannel solutions that encompass ecommerce, OMS, POS/(m)POS, CRM, ERP, and fulfillment systems.
• Work closely with NewStore Product Management and Engineering to synchronize client requirements with platform capabilities and roadmap plans.
• Guide and influence client technical teams and delivery partners through clear recommendations, comprehensive documentation, and hands-on leadership when necessary.
• Ensure the technical integrity of implementations from kickoff to delivery, confirming that solutions fulfill agreed business objectives, timelines, and architectural standards.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with scalability, regionalization, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Facilitate successful client outcomes by balancing immediate delivery needs with the long-term sustainability of the platform.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience across several areas, including eCommerce, OMS, in-store retail, and (m)POS systems.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, and fulfillment integrations.
• Solid technical foundation in client- and server-side technologies, encompassing RESTful APIs, web technologies, and mobile applications (JavaScript is a plus).
• Demonstrated experience in delivering complex, customer-facing projects punctually, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
• Comfortable functioning as a consultative, client-facing architect who enjoys collaborating closely with clients and third-party delivery teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Ability to persuade both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clarity, credibility, and pragmatism.
• Strategic mindset capable of anticipating challenges related to scale, performance, and international deployment considerations.
• Highly adaptable, composed, and confident in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
• A university degree in a technical field such as Engineering or Computer Science is preferred.
• Willingness to travel less than 10% of the time.
