This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Configure and manage enterprise data governance platforms.
• Create metadata models and establish governance workflows.
• Implement and sustain business glossaries and metadata repositories.
• Facilitate the implementation of enterprise data catalogs and execute metadata harvesting.
• Establish and uphold data quality rules along with monitoring processes.
• Assist in master and reference data management initiatives.
• Develop documentation for data lineage and authoritative sources.
• Create integration patterns that align with governance objectives.
• Support AI data readiness and ensure trusted data pipelines.
• Aid in the discovery and rationalization of legacy data.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards to document business definitions.
• Generate architecture documentation and establish technical standards.
• Formulate solution designs and implementation strategies.
• Assist with testing, deployment, training, and user adoption processes.
• Provide technical recommendations to the Data Governance Lead.
• Offer technical guidance to project teams, Data Stewards, and stakeholders.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
• Current or potential ability to secure a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is necessary to obtain the security clearance.
• 5–8 years of experience in implementing enterprise data management or data governance solutions.
• Familiarity with metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage.
• Experience with ETL processes, data mapping, and systems integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage.
• Capability to configure and support enterprise data governance platforms.
• Proficiency in designing metadata models, governance workflows, business glossaries, and metadata repositories.
• Understanding of ETL, data mapping, systems integration, and authoritative data sources.
• Ability to produce architecture documentation, technical standards, solution designs, implementation plans, and other technical documentation.
• Knowledge of data quality management, master/reference data management, and AI data readiness.
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to work effectively with Data Stewards and cross-functional technical teams.
• Experience with federal government or Department of Defense (DoD) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Unity Catalog, Informatica, Collibra, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Advana/Jupiter DoD War Data Catalog is preferred.
• CDMP, ADGP, or CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred.
• May require travel.
• Preference for residence in the Eastern Time Zone or ability to work during Eastern Time Zone business hours.
• Ability to work a standard eight-hour day and a forty-hour workweek.
