Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design configurations: Develop registration entities, data flows, task templates, data visualization experiences, and other settings to support the creation of Luma Solutions that will be included in the product.

• Test and resolve configurations: Conduct internal testing of configurations and assist in delivering test cases to the QA team for release testing. Diagnose configuration issues to determine why they are not yielding the expected results.

• Contribute to documentation: Draft documentation for configurations and workflows, collaborating with the Documentation team to finalize customer-facing materials.

• Educate users: Provide training to members of other Dotmatics teams and initial customers on how to utilize Luma Solutions configurations and the workflows they support.

• Promote quality and best practices: Actively engage in establishing best practices for Luma configuration, ensuring compliance during the development of Luma Solutions.

• Offer insights on new product features: Utilize new product features in Luma Solutions and share feedback on the user experience, participate in user experience testing, and provide input to the Product team regarding features that will enhance the Solutions.

• Contribute to the Solutions roadmap: Prototype concepts for new Solutions capabilities and offer insights on how these prototypes can shape the Solutions roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developing informatics solutions for Life Sciences clients.

• Knowledge of data models and their impact on configuration choices.

• Proficiency in configuring low-code software.

• Proven success in working with scientific data platforms or tools that involve data modeling, ETL, APIs, and BI/reporting.

• Strong SQL proficiency is essential.

• A commitment to quality and continuous improvement, motivated by a desire to address significant challenges.

• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Data Science, Chemistry, Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related technical field.
