Solutions Architect – AI for Drug Discovery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist the Business Development and Sales teams as a member of a 4-person team, collaborating with Industry Business leads, Account Managers, and Developer Relations managers to enhance the success of our developers’ ecosystem.

• Engage directly with developers and customers in a client-facing role.

• Support customers in implementing production-grade inference deployments, model training, reinforcement learning (RL), and post-training algorithms by facilitating their adoption of NVIDIA AI SDKs and APIs.

• Evaluate application architectures to identify opportunities for acceleration.

• Capture your knowledge and share it with others, such as by creating targeted training sessions for partners and fellow Solutions Architects, conducting hackathons and technical demonstrations on NVIDIA solutions and platforms, authoring whitepapers or blogs, or collaborating on challenging issues with a customer on a whiteboard.

• Investigate the latest innovations in foundation model training and customization, agentic LLM applications, and physical AI applications in the biopharma sector.

• Provide constructive feedback and work in collaboration with engineering, product, and research teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• MS or PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Computational Chemistry, or Biomedical Engineering, with substantial applied experience in these fields.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development related to AI/ML in healthcare or life sciences.

• A background in accelerating scientific algorithms through parallel programming (e.g., using CUDA) or experience with distributed programming models for supercomputing applications, AI deployment/inference technologies (e.g., TensorRT), or optimization frameworks (e.g., cuOpt) is advantageous.

• Proficient in Python and AI/ML frameworks (such as PyTorch, Langchain, or developing custom frameworks).

• Experience in developing, training, and customizing Transformer models for healthcare and life sciences applications, particularly using libraries like Transformer Engine or Megatron-LM.

• Strong communication skills with the capability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Must have a passion for engaging with innovative individuals, a commitment to lifelong learning, and a desire to remain at the cutting edge of the field.
