Posted Jul 17

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the principal AWS AI architecture partner for key clients, facilitating the design of generative and agentic AI systems from initial discovery to full production.

• Spearhead architecture design utilizing Amazon Bedrock (including both foundation and custom models), Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Strands Agents, and AWS AgentCore Gateway.

• Create sophisticated RAG, Agentic RAG, and multi-agent orchestration architectures by utilizing AWS-native services such as Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora (pgvector), and OpenSearch.

• Develop AWS reference architectures, architecture decision records (ADRs), and implementation roadmaps that align with business goals.

• Assess feasibility through practical prototyping in Python using Bedrock SDKs, SageMaker, and serverless services.

• Ensure that architectures comply with AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, VPC, PrivateLink) and principles of cost optimization.

• Maintain architectural integrity from concept through to production deployment on AWS.

• Align solutions with the pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization, and Sustainability.

• Assist clients in making tradeoff decisions concerning model selection (Bedrock FMs vs. custom SageMaker models), latency, cost, governance, and compliance.

• Regularly assess new AWS AI capabilities (Nova Forge, Nova 2 Sonic, Bedrock updates, and additional AgentCore functionalities).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• 7–10+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud architecture with substantial AWS ownership.

• Extensive knowledge of Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Strands Agents, AgentCore Gateway, and associated AWS AI services.

• Strong understanding of SageMaker (training, deployment, pipelines), deep learning concepts, and model fine-tuning techniques.

• Experience in architecting RAG, multi-agent, and orchestration systems using AWS-native services.

• Solid knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and serverless patterns.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).

• Practical development skills in Python and AWS SDKs.

• Experience in implementing observability and monitoring strategies within AWS environments.

• Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-scale AWS transformations.

• Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
