This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Identify and secure new clients.
• Evaluate and cross-sell to current clients.
• Oversee the sales cycle and manage the pipeline.
• Foster strong relationships with both existing and potential clients.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of our organization, offerings, partners, and target markets.
• Collaborate closely with our team to enhance services, communication, and customer engagement.
• Participate in conferences and various industry events.
• Be proficient with the enterprise technology stack, capable of delivering live product demonstrations.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in strategic, value-added sales.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proficient in responding to and drafting RFPs.
• A proven track record of excellence and career advancement.
• Ability to address complex challenges within a set framework and timeline.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation abilities; you communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
• Strong IT proficiency.
• A talent for cultivating strong relationships; others are eager to collaborate with you.
• Meticulous attention to detail and high standards for quality assurance.
• Effective time management skills; we believe in empowering our team rather than micromanaging.
• Discretion regarding confidential information.
• Experience in selling software solutions and consulting services.
• Background in collaborating with partners/channels for joint success.
• Familiarity with state/provincial/local financial reporting (e.g., Budget Books, ACFR, PSAB, LGDE).
• Experience in the public sector or selling to public sector entities in Canada or the United States.
