Solution Manager – Next Generation Data Center & Edge Technologies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will be accountable for the strategic advancement of Data Center solutions, ensuring continuous growth and profitability.

• Your role involves crafting and executing a strategy to enhance our clients' business operations through the precise application of our solutions and innovations.

• You will guarantee that the necessary quality is upheld from the initial customer interaction through to project completion.

• Working alongside the account teams, you will identify and cultivate lucrative business opportunities for Computacenter, particularly concerning the solution portfolio under your purview.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent qualification, complemented by substantial project and consulting experience within the data center sector.

• A minimum of five years experience in consulting and presales, with a focus on Data Center Orchestration & Automation, virtualization technologies, open source, and container technologies.

• A strong capability to convert technical customer requirements into a scalable product and service portfolio that includes both internal and external suppliers.

• Exceptional rhetorical and presentation skills, along with a confident and trustworthy demeanor as a solution partner in conflict and escalation management.

• An entrepreneurial mindset accompanied by a high level of personal accountability.

• Persuasive communication skills in both German and English.
