This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• You will be in charge of networking for our clients' Kubernetes environments.

• You will design and manage our CNI stack (with a focus on Cilium) tailored for high-performance, latency-sensitive clusters.

• You will collaborate closely with Kubernetes, infrastructure, and network teams to ensure a stable and secure platform.

• You will proactively identify and resolve network issues utilizing observability and troubleshooting techniques.

• You will enhance our network infrastructure to be scalable in accordance with the growth of Logicalis environments.

• You will work in partnership with colleagues across data center, cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Hands-on experience with Cilium CNI or similar high-end CNIs (including configuration, lifecycle management, and operations).

• Comprehensive understanding of the eBPF datapath, policies, load balancing, and Cilium architecture.

• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups/ACLs, NAT, and ingress/egress.

• Experience in designing multi-tenant network architectures with stringent security requirements.

• Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, ECMP, MTU/fragmentation, and overlay/underlay technologies (such as VXLAN, Geneve, etc.).

• Proficient in L3–L7 observability and complex troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with service mesh, multi-cluster networking, and Cluster Mesh.

• Proficient in English (C1 level); fluency in German is an advantage.
