Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Perform in-depth technical discovery and analysis of requirements.

• Design and create customized SSI digital shipbuilding solutions.

• Provide technical demonstrations to support the sales process.

• Act as the technical expert throughout the sales cycle.

• Work closely with the EMEA sales manager to develop deal strategies.

• Offer early insights into implementation.

• Maintain extensive knowledge of products, industry trends, and technology.

• Establish long-term trust and confidence with pre-sale customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.

• Proven experience with CAD, CAE, PLM, or similar engineering software tools.

• Experience in shipbuilding or marine engineering is highly beneficial.

• Backgrounds in industrial plants, process industries, or other advanced engineering settings are also ideal for this position.

• Strong capability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both customers and internal stakeholders.

• Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles and within matrix organizational structures.

• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
