Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Showcase Snowflake's technology and vision to both executives and technical teams at prospects and customers.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers throughout the entire sales cycle, from demonstrations to proof of concept to design and implementation.

• Gain insight into competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, positioning Snowflake effectively in comparison.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to enhance Snowflake’s products and promotional strategies.

• Partner with the sales team and channel associates to identify customer needs and develop successful sales strategies.

• Deliver value-driven demonstrations and support enterprise-level Proofs of Concept.

• Finalize business agreements and secure significant deals.

• Safeguard customer information in accordance with company confidentiality and security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–8 years of experience in the industry, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales capacity.

• Exceptional presentation skills tailored for both technical and executive audiences, including spontaneous whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.

• Extensive experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technologies, ETL processes, analytics, and cloud-based solutions.

• Familiarity with Data Lake, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric technologies.

• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.

• Capable of aligning customer business challenges with Snowflake’s solutions.

• Skilled in conducting in-depth analysis of customers’ architectural frameworks and relating them to Snowflake Data Architecture.

• A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Experience with Global System Integrators like EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is advantageous but not essential.

• Must reside in Ohio or Indiana.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
