Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Convey the vision and technology of Snowflake to both executives and technical stakeholders at potential clients and existing customers.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers to showcase and articulate the advantages of Snowflake technology throughout the sales process, from demonstrations to proof of concept and implementation.

• Stay deeply informed about the dynamic industry landscape, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of competing and complementary technologies and how to strategically position Snowflake among them.

• Collaborate with teams in Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance Snowflake’s offerings and promotional strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-8 years of experience in the industry, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.

• Exceptional presentation skills tailored to both technical and executive audiences, whether on-the-fly with a whiteboard or through structured presentations and demonstrations.

• Extensive experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technologies, ETL processes, analytics, and cloud solutions, including Data Lake, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.

• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python programming.

• Capability to align a customer’s unique business challenges with Snowflake’s solutions.

• Skill in conducting in-depth assessments of customer architecture frameworks and linking them with Snowflake Data Architecture.

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields is preferred, or equivalent professional experience. A Master’s degree in Data Science or Business Administration is an advantage.

• Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc., is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
