Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with our customers' teams, you will lead and participate in all stages of the Neo4j PreSales projects.

• Be a vital member of the Neo4j sales team, assisting in convincing potential Neo4j users about the benefits and advantages of graph database technology.

• Position the Neo4j technology within the customer's environment and architecture.

• Engage in discussions regarding solution architectures with our customers to meet the technical requirements of their projects.

• Design and construct prototype solutions that showcase the necessary functionality using Neo4j.

• Assist in preparing solution proposals for our customer’s engineering and management teams that align with the overall project objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a Solution, PreSales, or Professional Services Organization.

• Profound understanding and proven experience with database technologies and data modeling concepts, preferably with NoSQL stores.

• Strong architectural skills, including mapping business needs to technical requirements and understanding multiple components necessary to build a solution.

• Background in software engineering.

• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Javascript).

• Ability to engage and collaborate with engineers in an advisory capacity.

• Quick to learn new technologies as required and comfortable doing so.

• Enthusiastic about addressing technical challenges.

• Proficient in educating and training small groups.

• Solid grasp of the sales process.

• A proactive mindset to ensure the technical aspects of the sales process remain on track.

• Industry experience in at least one of the following sectors: Financial Services, Retail, Government, Security, Pharmaceutical, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capability and willingness to work independently, self-directed, and remotely within a cross-functional organization.
