Solution Consultant – Project Controls, EVM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to evaluate project controls, scheduling, and EVM needs, providing effective recommendations.

• Assist in the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of project controls solutions.

• Aid in the setup, execution, reporting, and analysis of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

• Examine project performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, offering actionable insights.

• Help clients enhance their project controls processes, governance, and reporting methodologies.

• Lead client workshops, working sessions, training, and solution demonstrations.

• Convert business needs into functional solution designs and implementation strategies.

• Assist with data validation, system testing, integrations, and deployment efforts.

• Create client-facing deliverables, including assessments, process documentation, recommendations, and executive summaries.

• Work collaboratively with internal consultants and delivery teams to ensure effective project execution.

• Keep abreast of project controls tools, industry standards, and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in project controls, EVM, scheduling, or consulting.

• Hands-on experience with Deltek Cobra, forProject, WebEVM, EcoSys (Sequence), Cora, or similar project controls tools.

• Background in supporting or executing Earned Value Management (EVM/EVMS) processes.

• Strong grasp of CPM scheduling principles and schedule analysis.

• Familiarity with scheduling platforms such as Open Plan, Primavera P6, and/or Microsoft Project.

• Capacity to interpret cost, schedule, and performance data and convey findings effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience interacting directly with clients, stakeholders, or project teams.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a consulting setting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
