This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Implement a pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners through phone, web, or in-person meetings, facilitating the discovery process and pinpointing areas where Workiva solutions can meet customer and prospect requirements.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by collaborating with the Workiva Client Services team for seamless onboarding and sustained success.
• Exhibit expertise across various domain areas, developing a solid understanding of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can make a significant impact.
• Support the creation of new use cases or utilize existing templates to demonstrate the effectiveness and value proposition of our solutions.
• Conduct process assessments with clients, build Proof of Concepts to confirm requirements, and construct and present tailored business cases for customers.
• May start to provide cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring to peers.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success teams to meet both team and organizational objectives.
• Aid Sales in formulating account plans that align with Workiva's strategies and goals.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field; an advanced degree may be accepted in place of professional experience.
• Four years of experience in finance, accounting, internal audit, software development, technical sales, or a related area.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
• Familiarity with business intelligence technologies, databases, or data management platforms.
• Background in process improvement consulting and financial transformation projects.
• Outstanding ability to simplify complex financial or technical concepts for various audiences.
• In-depth understanding of the internal processes within a company's accounting, finance, or sustainability functions.
• Capability to evaluate business needs and provide a compelling software demonstration based on value, employing formal presales methodologies.
• Innovative, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and business insight.
• Excellent presentation skills in client-facing situations.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, effectively multitasking and prioritizing to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for team and corporate meetings, building relationships and representing the company's interests.
• Reliable internet access for any period of remote work, as we support flexible work arrangements.
