This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Implement the pre-sales framework to engage with customers, prospects, and partners through phone calls, web interactions, or in-person meetings, facilitating the discovery process and identifying how Workiva solutions can meet customer/prospect needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by collaborating with the Workiva Client Services team for seamless onboarding and long-term success.
• Exhibit expertise across various domains, acquiring a solid understanding of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can make a difference.
• Perform both general and targeted solution demonstrations focusing on Financial Reporting (including private financials, capital markets transactions, SEC/Advanced, and management reporting) and essential Controls.
• Support the development of new use cases or leverage existing templates to showcase our solution's impact and value proposition.
• Conduct process evaluations with clients, create Proof of Concepts to confirm requirements, and develop and present client-specific business cases.
• May start to provide cross-domain coaching, training, or mentorship to colleagues.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to meet team and company objectives.
• Assist the Sales team in formulating account plans to support Workiva's strategies and goals.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field.
• Over 4 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, technical sales, or client-facing SaaS implementation.
• Proficiency in both English and German.
• Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Self-driven with a strong inclination towards action, results, and ongoing improvement.
• Practical technical knowledge of SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A, or Analytics & Reporting solutions.
• Capability to deliver value-driven, persuasive software demonstrations.
