Solution Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Creates and implements comprehensive IT solutions through consulting project initiatives.

• Duties encompass client identification through to final invoicing for projects that demand a mix of interpersonal and technical skills.

• Technical duties involve identifying problems, defining system architecture, specifying and/or designing hardware/software, implementing solutions, testing, training clients, and deploying solutions.

• Performance is generally assessed based on utilization (i.e., billable hours).

• Project management tasks include collaboration with company and client managers as well as monitoring costs and schedules.

• May involve some financial responsibilities, such as estimating project costs, generating proposals, and managing invoicing.

• May engage in sales and proposal presentations while also completing ongoing team account activities.

• Recognizes additional product/service opportunities within the client organization.

• Performance metrics are typically based on securing consulting engagements and/or delivering agreed-upon solutions within the allocated hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with cyber threats, attack vectors, detection capabilities, and relevant countermeasures.

• Preferred experience in a Security Operations Center, monitoring security alerts, responding to incidents, and remediating identified issues.

• Strong understanding of organizational Incident Management processes related to threats and vulnerabilities.

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Trellix (formerly McAfee) Endpoint Security, Application Control/Change Control, ENS, TIE, DXL, DLP.

• Experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux OS hardening, including knowledge of artifacts and behaviors.

• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Go, C#, or similar command-line scripting is preferred.

• Experience in scripting API integrations with response and orchestration tools such as SIEM, SOARs, and/or XDR platforms may be an advantage.

• Familiarity with SIEM tools and collaboration with SIEM Analysts.

• Experience in event correlation and analysis.

• Proven technical expertise in cybersecurity operations, engineering, and systems engineering.

• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix, etc.) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) in enterprise networks.
