This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Define the product/solution vision, functional decomposition, assumptions, dependencies, and out-of-scope items for collaboration with a product designer and solution architect, along with their estimates for design and development efforts.
• Plan business analysis activities, estimating the necessary work and capacity for project execution.
• Conduct a comprehensive analysis and overview of the business domain and key business processes, as well as value streams related to client requests for the pre-sale team.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Client Engagement Managers, and Business Development Managers to identify optimal sales strategies and opportunities with prospects or existing clients.
• Organize product design phase activities for the business analysis stream, ensuring that requirements are thoroughly captured while the project scope is defined and objectives are achieved.
• Together with a product designer and solution architect, facilitate various product ideation, vision, and scope framing workshops, both online and in-person, with clients.
• Present well-prepared commercial proposals and product/solution visions to client stakeholders.
• Analyze solution options and provide recommendations for client requests based on insights from the sales team's ideation, project timeline, goals, and objectives.
• Create and maintain high-level artifacts that serve as guidance on project and business vision for other business analysts involved in the project.
• Transition knowledge and documents from the pre-sales phase to the project team during kickoff, assisting the project team with the initial stages of execution as a primary knowledge holder.
• Identify, define, and validate business needs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Synthesize analysis into key features and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Work with project sponsors and subject matter experts to understand and document business cases.
• Establish, control, and enhance requirements management processes throughout the project.
• Define metrics for assessing business analysis results and develop methods for data collection.
• Conduct audits of projects, products, and requirements.
• Apply expertise and knowledge of the business domain while keeping abreast of technology trends.
• Engage in the development of the Business Analysis Office's competencies and mentoring initiatives.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis roles.
• MUST HAVE experience working on both supplier-side and internal business-side roles as a Business Analyst.
• Strong ability to foster relationships with stakeholders at all management levels.
• Capability to design and implement effective communication plans for stakeholders with limited availability, including managing risks associated with their unavailability.
• Ability to identify and distinguish between business needs, user needs, and stakeholder needs.
• Strong proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools, with full accountability for the quality of delivered artifacts.
• Proficiency in AI tools that support business analysis activities, including validation and enhancement of requirements quality (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Expert knowledge in at least one category of non-functional requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of the complete requirements lifecycle, including elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management.
• Experience working on projects utilizing various software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and complex tasks in an Agile environment.
• Proven effectiveness as part of a distributed team.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong knowledge of at least one target domain (e.g., insurance, energy, hospitality, life sciences).
• Solid business acumen.
• Strong understanding of lean product development principles and design thinking methodologies.
• Familiarity with service-oriented business models and service development approaches.
