Solution Architect – HLS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive design of technical solutions and suggest best-practice approaches based on client requirements.

• Provide technical expertise for Salesforce.com and other SaaS applications in alignment with business and product strategies.

• Conduct discovery sessions to gain insights into client processes and challenges.

• Convert discovery insights into technical specifications and documented solution designs.

• Create Salesforce solutions utilizing product features, best practices, and custom components.

• Produce both technical and non-technical project documentation along with architecture diagrams.

• Develop build tasks, estimate efforts, and manage the creation of reporting/dashboards and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Identify when to implement declarative versus programmatic development, partner applications, and AppExchange products.

• Execute Salesforce administration, configuration, and data migration tasks as necessary.

• Collaborate with Coastal and client teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

• Serve as a solution Subject Matter Expert (SME) alongside Delivery leadership and Account Executives to define sales proposals.

• Partner with Project Managers to enhance collaboration between delivery and client project teams.

• Cultivate professional and technical skills while mentoring Coastal team members.

• Attain and retain necessary Salesforce technical and partner certifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in the Health and Life Sciences sector as an employee or in a techno-functional capacity supporting HLS clients.

• 4–6 years of advanced business analysis skills on the Salesforce Platform and familiarity with project scoping.

• Over 2 years of experience as a Senior Consultant or in a comparable senior role.

• Strong proficiency in the core Salesforce.com platform.

• Practical knowledge of Salesforce along with Sales, Services, and Marketing functionalities.

• Active certifications as a Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant are required; a minimum of 4 certifications is preferred.

• Additional knowledge of Salesforce clouds is preferred, including Nonprofit Cloud, Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, CPQ, and Field Service.

• Previous experience with the software development life cycle, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies is preferred.

• Capability to create entity relationship and object relationship diagrams.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

• Experience in client-facing roles and/or as an internal project leader managing various stakeholders.

• Ability to devise practical Salesforce solutions and methodologies.

• Must possess full-time permanent work authorization in the U.S.

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is acceptable.

• Experience with Health Cloud and as a Health Cloud Accredited Professional is preferred.

• Willingness to travel as necessitated by client needs or project milestones.

• Basic understanding of common enterprise CRM or ERP systems.
