Solution Architect, Forward Deployed Architecture – AI Capability Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Define the issue at hand

• Initiate preliminary discussions with the business to identify the problem that needs addressing

• Take ownership of the design

• Create the solution design and ensure it remains updated as the project progresses

• Facilitate dual communication

• Bridge the gap between the business requirements and the solutions developed by the engineers

• Establish success criteria

• Collaborate with the Engagement Manager and the engineers to define what success entails and how it will be measured prior to commencing the build

• Tackle the complex components

• Collaborate with engineers on the critical elements of the build that the design relies on

• Provide industry-specific expertise

• Ensure the design remains relevant to the industry it serves

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in solution architecture, technical or experience design, or applied-AI consulting, including 1 to 2 years in a leadership role

• Skilled in transforming ambiguous problems into actionable designs for engineers

• Exceptional writing and facilitation skills, with the ability to gain credibility with executives

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

• Proficient in RAG, agents, and evaluation sufficient to design them

• Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments with changing priorities and undefined challenges

• Experience in process mapping and service design

• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare or higher education sectors

• Certifications such as AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CBAP (BABOK), or Claude Certified Architect - Foundations
