Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold architectural standards for the ARES Salesforce implementation across all development teams (e.g., naming conventions, metadata organization, technology decision framework, platform-native-first principles).

• Manage the cross-team dependency log; facilitate program planning to identify and sequence inter-team dependencies.

• Define and uphold the team working agreements among development teams.

• Evaluate senior developer architecture decisions across development teams; offer guidance to overcome technical obstacles.

• Oversee technical documentation (e.g., architecture, DevSecOps pipeline, sequence diagrams, data model, and data dictionary).

• Govern the branch strategy for concurrent development; establish merge cadence and conflict resolution protocols.

• Assist the RMF/ATO workstream by supplying architecture documentation to the Security Engineer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Eligibility to acquire a Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce solution architect, preferably within the public sector or federal government.

• Expert-level understanding of the OpsEA Salesforce platform and related technologies (e.g., PSF, Shield, BRE, CRM Analytics, Flows, Apex, PSGs, OWD sharing model).

• Familiarity with Flosum or similar Salesforce-specific CI/CD tools.

• Experience serving as a tech lead or architect across multiple concurrent agile delivery teams.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and executive communication abilities.

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Application Architect.
