• In the role of Solution Architect, you will assist clients in addressing their most complex challenges through technology, modernization, and transformation initiatives, employing established methods and solutions.
• Collaborate with business development, research and development, and other subject matter experts to create optimal and distinct Leidos solutions to be implemented in programs, proposals, and R&D projects.
• Aid potential clients and partners in grasping the value and advantages of the Leidos solution, elucidate technical features and transformation strategies, participate in proof of concepts, and address potential issues.
• In partnership with program teams and Intel leadership, identify technology and solution roadmaps to enhance mission enterprise capabilities, leading to increased contract growth and enhanced customer satisfaction.
• Establish best practices, lessons learned, and technological strategies within Leidos concerning digital modernization and transformation technologies, including large-scale software development/architecture, Cloud migration, microservices, and other necessary areas.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to support new business initiatives, which includes developing technical solutions, basis of estimates, white papers, industry relationships, and responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Assist the Business Development team with customer calls and the corporate business development process at Leidos for larger opportunities.
• Enhance existing programs through the application of technology and/or innovation by collaborating with peer Operations teams, Group CTOs, and other Leidos Groups, while leveraging known technologies and solutions in current programs and new business pursuits.
• Understand the technology competencies of competitors and teammates.
• Evaluate and assess vendor technology solutions.
• Mentor and evaluate the technical talent and solution architects within the organization to address current and future business challenges in new markets.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams.
• Strong working knowledge of Cloud, data science, and/or software delivery.
• Extensive technical breadth and depth in support of government markets, particularly in government mission and enterprise IT design, implementation, operations, and modernization.
• Experienced professional with a proven record in contract performance, demonstrating technical leadership and building customer relationships.
• A successful history of driving contract growth through the integration of innovation and technology into existing programs.
• Thorough industry knowledge of leading capability providers to improve our technical solution offerings.
• Experience as a solution architect or technical volume lead on captures and proposals.
• Capability to assess, identify, recruit, and retain talent to enhance technical expertise on current programs and build talent for future program proposals and execution within a large organization.
• Proficiency in authoring, presenting, and articulating problem sets and related solution elements in various settings, including those involving customers, business development, program delivery, technical teams, and executives.
