This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and take ownership of the complete solution architecture for insurance platforms and solutions.
• Implement AI-driven engineering methodologies to enhance development speed and quality.
• Establish architectural standards, best practices, and integration strategies across internal teams and third-party services.
• Convert business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.
• Design API-first, event-driven, and microservices-based integration approaches.
• Engage in hands-on building to adhere to architectural governance standards, conduct design and code reviews, and lead technical decision-making processes.
• Develop and operationalize systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory, security, and data governance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering team members to guide implementation and address complex technical issues.
• Work alongside product and business stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with long-term strategic objectives.
• Assess and integrate emerging technologies to foster business growth and innovation.
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, including more than 5 years in architectural leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience as a Solution/Enterprise Architect in insurance or fintech domains.
• Strong proficiency in cloud-native architecture, specifically with AWS or Azure.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., code generation, copilots, automation).
• Comprehensive understanding of microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with core domain systems such as policy administration, claims, billing, payments, and underwriting.
• Strong grasp of security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOC2, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
• Expertise in DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Solid background in data architecture, including real-time processing, data lakes, and analytics.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Capability to align technical solutions with business strategies and outcomes.
• Preferred: Experience in implementing AI/ML use cases in insurance or fintech (such as fraud detection, underwriting, personalization).
• Experience in high-growth startups or scaling organizations.
• Certifications in cloud platforms or architectural frameworks.
