Solution Architect – AI, Automated Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery sessions aimed at pinpointing high-value use cases for AI and automated solutions, which encompass workflow automation, copilots, knowledge retrieval, and intelligent routing.

• Convert business goals into technical designs that detail workflows, data flows, integration points, along with non-functional requirements such as latency, reliability, security, and compliance.

• Design and deploy AI Agentic solutions capable of reasoning, planning, tool calling, and executing multi-step tasks across APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and document repositories.

• Construct solution workflows utilizing patterns like planner-executor, supervisor-worker, and human-in-the-loop, with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and other orchestration libraries like LlamaIndex and Semantic Kernel.

• Employ MCP-style protocols to standardize tool discovery and invocation, which includes tool schemas, validation, retries, error handling, and safe execution methodologies.

• Develop retrieval-augmented generation pipelines that cover ingestion, chunking, metadata design, embeddings, vector indexing, hybrid search, reranking, and retrieval orchestration.

• Implement prompt and policy design techniques, including structured prompting, guarded templates, reasoning aids, and evaluation strategies to enhance quality and minimize hallucinations.

• Integrate AI and automated solutions into web and mobile applications, core enterprise systems (CRM, Support, ERP, HR, finance, ticketing, supply chain), collaboration tools, and process platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in integrating with cloud AI services and model platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, third-party LLM providers, or self-hosted open-source models.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio for developing and enhancing enterprise AI solutions, including custom workflows, connectors, REST/API integrations, and grounding with enterprise knowledge, as well as MCP-enabled integrations.

• Proficient in Python for AI application development, orchestration, and integration scenarios.

• Practical experience in building LLM-powered applications, focusing on prompt engineering, tool-calling, structured outputs, and multi-step conversational workflows.

• Experience in designing and implementing RAG systems, encompassing document ingestion, chunking, metadata strategies, vector stores, hybrid search, and reranking.

• Knowledge of orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar platforms.

• Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Engineer, or Senior Engineer in crafting end-to-end enterprise solutions.

• Experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS, covering networking, IAM, container orchestration, and serverless services.

• Ability to instrument AI solutions with logging, response capture, monitoring, and feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement.
