Solidity Protocol Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Participate in the design, execution, testing, and security evaluation of Wormhole’s fundamental Solidity contracts and protocols that are expanding to EVM chains.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to collect customer requirements, assess business needs, and convert them into smart contract code.

• Adhere to best practices for secure smart contract development and help establish future best practices in conjunction with Wormhole security researchers.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in Ethereum/EVM tooling, best practices, and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess extensive experience in developing production-level Solidity contracts.

• Demonstrate high agency and influence the outcomes you aspire to achieve.

• Exhibit a strong commitment to the business outcomes of your work and challenge priorities when the business impact is ambiguous.

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
