This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with leaders and partners in blockchain and digital assets.
• Oversee the daily execution and delivery of audit and advisory tasks throughout the year.
• Manage associate-level professionals and assign engagement responsibilities.
• Responsible for addressing and resolving audit issues that arise during engagements, with support from the engagement manager.
• Build and sustain client relationships to enhance client satisfaction.
• Research, comprehend, and implement complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and communicate audit findings in both verbal and written formats.
• Guide, motivate, and mentor associates by providing training, ongoing feedback, and career guidance while promoting a collaborative team environment.
• A strong PASSION for blockchain and digital assets.
• CPA license is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of audit experience required.
• Familiarity with technical accounting issues prevalent in the industry, including token issuances, exchange and custodial accounting, DeFi, staking, lending, derivatives accounting, and crypto basis tracking.
• Prior experience in core assurance services involving audit planning, development of audit programs, execution of testing, and preparation of work papers is essential.
• Understanding of internal accounting controls, control testing, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with the capacity for technical research.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with the blockchain and digital assets technology ecosystem, including smart contracts, block explorers, crypto tracking and accounting software, blockchain analysis, and other RegTech tools.
