Protocol Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and test essential components of our Cosmos-SDK protocol, which includes our decentralized order book, trade execution coordinator, order matcher, and Layer-2 execution environment.

• Enhance and refine key elements of the Injective blockchain, covering consensus, state management, financial infrastructure, and applications.

• Create open-source Golang clients that enable users to interact directly with our protocol and smart contracts.

• Participate in the research and development of innovative blockchain features and technologies.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, back-end developers, and quality assurance engineers, to provide comprehensive blockchain solutions.

• Partner with external collaborators and open-source communities to strengthen our blockchain ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Blockchain Engineer.

• Previous experience in trading or within an exchange environment.

• Experience working on a minimum of two sizable and efficient production Golang codebases.

• In-depth understanding of Go idioms, libraries, and parallel processing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of blockchain, DeFi & DEX concepts, consensus mechanisms, and the CosmWasm contract platform.

• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and API design.

• Proficient in conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
