This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver service, maintenance, warranty resolution, and commissioning for installed photovoltaic inverters and BESS equipment.
• Execute field service to achieve 99% uptime.
• Identify and repair malfunctioning inverters.
• Resolve mechanical and electromechanical challenges.
• Conduct annual maintenance inspections periodically.
• Maintain records of maintenance findings.
• Support the development of maintenance programs.
• Carry out startup and commissioning for new PV inverter setups.
• Evaluate physical installations, paying attention to wiring, connections, and mechanical condition.
• Power systems, configure required parameters, and ensure optimal operation.
• Monitor performance and efficiency metrics.
• Uphold high customer satisfaction through outstanding customer service.
• Provide precise and timely product service documentation.
• Perform work at customer locations and travel extensively across the US.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of work experience in the industry with inverters.
• Willingness and ability to travel to and from customer locations 90% to 100% of the time.
• Flexibility to travel throughout the US as needed.
• A 2-year technical degree and/or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficient analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Experience in solar industry service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Customer-focused with a professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of power electronics and controls.
• Familiarity with Modbus serial and Ethernet communications.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if required.
