This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the in-house expert on solar inspections, SaaS, workflows, and customer requirements.
• Participate in solar discovery, qualification, and solution-design calls as a subject-matter authority.
• Identify customers’ technical, operational, and commercial requirements.
• Develop solution proposals, scopes of work, and implementation strategies.
• Create and manage customer pricing models.
• Offer technical solar assistance to Sales and Solutions teams.
• Design preventative maintenance programs customized to client needs.
• Conduct technical product demonstrations for potential clients.
• Assist with customer onboarding and implementation alongside the Customer Success team.
• Provide guidance on inspection workflows, programs, data transfer, reporting, and ongoing operations.
• Resolve issues and enhance workflows with Customer Success, Inspection Operations, and Delivery teams.
• Enhance delivery playbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Facilitate data hand-off calls to relay inspection results, insights, and actionable findings.
• Convert customer challenges and use cases into product specifications and operational processes.
• Identify gaps in offerings and suggest enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product and Operations to prioritize improvements and refine solution designs.
• Develop frameworks for solar discovery and qualification templates.
• Build a library of customer use cases.
• Document workflows for implementation and inspection, including roles, data flows, timelines, and dependencies.
• Create enabling materials for sales and delivery, encompassing positioning guides, talk tracks, battlecards, objection handling, checklists, and project plans.
• Provide training support for Sales, Delivery, Customer Success, and Operations teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of utility-scale solar, including solar asset management and field operations.
• Familiarity with utility-scale wind is advantageous.
• Experience engaging directly with solar clients, such as developers, IPPs, asset owners, or O&M providers.
• Ideal candidates will have experience in solution/software sales or customer-facing technical roles.
• Practical experience with onboarding, implementation, or service delivery for solar technology, data, or software solutions.
• Ability to convert customer workflows into structured requirements and delivery processes.
• Comfortable leading customer calls, guiding discovery, facilitating onboarding, and serving as a credible subject-matter expert.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to produce clear frameworks, documentation, and training resources.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and collaborate across Sales, Solutions, Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams.
• Must be currently residing in the United States.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for this employer currently and in the future without requiring visa sponsorship.
• Option for remote work or position at the Ann Arbor headquarters based on candidate location and preference.
• Team and customer meetings primarily scheduled in the US Eastern timezone.
