This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Oversee the administrative management of solar projects on-site.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, schedules, budgets, and project specifications.
• Manage preconstruction services through either GMP or Lump Sum contracts.
• Negotiate contracts with owners and collaborate with design teams and clients.
• Develop programs to meet MBE compliance requirements.
• Identify subcontractors, assess sites, and pinpoint long-lead items.
• Create bid packages, schedules, site utilization plans, and value engineering proposals.
• Oversee project finances, including revenue forecasts, cash flow, budgets, and financial reporting.
• Process owner requisitions, change orders, insurance, bonds, and purchasing timelines.
• Recruit, manage, assess, and develop on-site staff.
• Administer document control and RFI processes utilizing CMiC.
• Manage field operations, including subcontractors, vendors, permit inspections, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
• Conduct daily site inspections and ensure site cleanliness and equipment rental management.
• Foster client relationships and liaise with owners.
• Oversee project closeout processes, warranties, final payments, and subcontractor completion.
• Engage in company events, task teams, industry organizations, recruiting, training, and ongoing education.
• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the Solar/EPC construction sector.
• Proficient in computer applications, particularly those related to construction project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to coach, mentor, and build motivated teams.
• Highly developed skills in project management finance.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
