This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

• Foster a culture of operational excellence and ensure smooth operations without incidents.

• Offer expert technical and analytical support to all field personnel and other departments.

• Execute and coordinate intricate preventative and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems.

• Carry out commissioning and audit services for solar electric systems.

• Serve as the Regional approval authority for PLOTO and the switch plan LOTO.

• Document and report all faults, deficiencies, and any unusual events occurring on-site.

• Create corrective action plans to diagnose and resolve electrical faults.

• Oversee or evaluate fieldwork and provide mentorship to junior technicians.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant State AHJ, electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

• Review, submit, and oversee the electrical permitting process.

• Collaborate with the O&M Manager to enhance regional performance.

• Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry best practices.

• Work closely with the Regional Manager and third-party vendors.

• Active Master Electrician License.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in solar PV installation, operation, and maintenance.

• Strong grasp of electrical theory and principles.

• Proficient in utilizing electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.

• Capability to work safely and independently in 34,500VAC and 1500VDC environments.

• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
