Solar Operations & Maintenance Technician, Level 1

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot solar energy systems.

• Conduct routine evaluations of solar energy systems.

• Execute preventative maintenance tasks.

• Identify and report any equipment deficiencies or irregularities.

• Assist senior technicians in basic troubleshooting of solar energy systems.

• Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

• Engage in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 0-1 year of experience in the solar industry or a related field.

• Background in construction or electrical work.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

• Comfortable operating in low voltage and non-hazardous situations with supervision.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid mechanical aptitude, time management, and troubleshooting abilities.
