
Solar Operations & Maintenance Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Oversee the various elements of the photovoltaic (PV) power plant management program for daily operations at PV plant locations.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, fostering a secure work environment.
• Participate in, conduct, and complete all required training related to safety, environmental practices, and other relevant areas.
• Accountable for operating the plant within the confines of an approved budget.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and NERC standards.
• Develop training programs aimed at bridging skill gaps among employees.
• Monitor the usage and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment, and tools, reordering as necessary.
• Supervise troubleshooting and repairs of complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, and network systems.
• Instruct technicians on testing and troubleshooting equipment across low, medium, and high voltage categories.
• Authorize payments and manage purchasing expenditures with thorough record-keeping.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations and/or maintenance within power generation, transmission, and/or distribution, including at least two years in the solar sector.
• At least one year of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• A valid U.S. driver's license with a satisfactory MVR record.
• Proficient in using all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Some degree of advanced technical knowledge regarding PV inverters and tracking systems.
