This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Diagnose issues with inverters, combiner boxes, and perform repairs or replacements on string lines.
• Conduct LOTO, IV Curve tracing, megger/insulation testing, and infrared scans.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of solar power plants in compliance with established standards and procedures.
• Exemplify safety protocols and professionalism in all operations.
• Identify and resolve solar system issues promptly.
• Manage documentation including work orders, service orders, time logs, and emergency information schedules.
• Operate your Pearce motor vehicle safely and in accordance with the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance policies.
• Keep the PEARCE company vehicle clean, presentable, and functional.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial and/or utility-scale solar sites.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and power electronics.
• Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations, with the ability to implement NFPA 70E/OSHA 10 training.
• Possess a working knowledge of electrical component troubleshooting using digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar tools.
• Capable of testing installed equipment to ensure proper functionality, including conducting daily mechanical and electrical inspections.
