Field Service Engineer, Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Provide maintenance, diagnostic, and repair assistance for equipment functioning in Iron Ore mining settings

• Offer service support to both mining and non-mining clients within the designated territory

• Carry out troubleshooting and repairs on a diverse array of mechanical systems with limited supervision

• Maintain precise service documentation, work orders, and reporting within company systems

• Ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with company safety policies and industry regulations

• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management regarding equipment condition and service requirements

• Identify opportunities for enhancing reliability, uptime, and customer satisfaction

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong mechanical background with demonstrated hands-on experience

• Proficiency in basic computer systems for diagnostics, reporting, and work order management

• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage time and responsibilities without direct supervision

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned service area

• Experience with high horsepower engines (Preferred)

• Background in mining equipment or heavy equipment service environments (Preferred)

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and advanced troubleshooting methods (Preferred)
