Field Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Drive demand generation by optimizing Arrow content in designs.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and utilize Arrow’s engineering and design services to identify and implement solutions.

• Utilize technical knowledge to influence designs through solution selling, resources, and strategic approaches.

• Collaborate with the sales team on both pre-sales and post-sales initiatives.

• Offer technical support and consulting to encourage demand generation.

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients.

• Oversee major opportunities and manage the opportunity funnel for designated suppliers.

• Participate in supplier training sessions both in-person and via conference calls.

• Exhibit an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of supplier technologies and their relevance to market demands.

• Train sales teams on new products and assist in marketing these products to the right customers.

• Manage expectations of suppliers and customers by fostering relationships and keeping stakeholders informed about activities, plans, and progress.

• Strengthen connections with key decision-makers among customers and suppliers.

• Attend and engage in strategic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews.

• Develop and implement strategic technical plans based on supplier lines or customer solutions.

• Assist in planning and organizing engineering customer events and seminars.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic design, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

• Extensive knowledge and experience with system/board/engineering solutions and electronic components.

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

• Sales experience is advantageous for this position.

• This role requires regular onsite visits to customer locations, making it customer-facing.
