• Create, implement, and carry out extensive testing strategies for intricate, distributed software systems.
• Design and uphold detailed test cases, test plans, and test evidence to facilitate production releases, client integrations, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct functional and integration testing for both internal services and external interfaces.
• Organize and perform end-to-end and cross-party testing, including collaboration with external stakeholders and counterparties.
• Execute non-functional testing, such as performance, resilience, failover, upgrade, and recovery scenarios.
• Carry out security and negative testing, assisting with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
• Evaluate test outcomes, identify defects, and ensure proper documentation and reproducibility of issues.
• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of testing frameworks, stubs, simulators, and necessary testing infrastructure.
• Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to guarantee high-quality software delivery.
• Continuously enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, with a strong foundation in computer science principles. Relevant areas include databases, concurrency, distributed systems, and security.
• Over 3 years of experience in testing or developing software in JVM-based environments, including Kotlin, Java, or other JVM-targeting languages.
• Proven experience in testing complex, distributed software systems, particularly those with components communicating through REST APIs, message queues, and asynchronous workflows.
• Significant experience in non-functional testing, encompassing performance, resilience, and security assessments.
• Established experience using testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Cucumber or similar).
• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing complex test infrastructure, such as stubs, simulators, test harnesses, or environment-level testing tools.
• Proactive attitude with strong critical-thinking abilities, capable of identifying and articulating quality risks early.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-assurance environment and adapt to changes effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in a professional, technical setting.
