QA Automation Engineer, AI-Assisted Test Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Contribute to quality assurance processes throughout the planning, development, and release phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to design, generate, validate, and manage test assets on a large scale.

• Review and assess AI-generated test outputs critically before they are added to the repository, identifying false positives, coverage deficiencies, and fragile assertions.

• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA leadership to establish quality benchmarks and communicate risks effectively.

• Consider scalability beyond local scripts, comprehending how testing solutions evolve from 10 to 10,000 and architect accordingly.

• Quickly adapt processes in response to a dynamic product landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in software quality assurance, testing, or software development.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript.

• Practical experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or similar), focusing on API and web UI testing.

• Proven ability to work effectively with AI coding assistants and produce reliable, production-ready results.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• A proactive and inquisitive mindset - eager to learn and develop professionally.

• Capability to think critically and adapt swiftly in a changing environment.
