Software Development Engineer – Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and uphold automated testing scripts and frameworks to guarantee the delivery of high-quality software.

• Formulate strong testing strategies for both the back-end and front-end components of our applications.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and offer testing insights throughout the development process.

• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to detect software defects and ensure optimal performance.

• Leverage tools and technologies to improve automated testing capabilities.

• Identify and log defects, monitor issues, and collaborate closely with developers for efficient resolution.

• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback regarding testability and quality aspects of the code.

• Maintain testing documentation, encompassing test plans, test cases, and technical specifications.

• Investigate and adopt industry best practices for software testing and automation.

• Support performance testing and analyze results to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).

• Proficient programming skills in JavaScript, Python, and Node.js.

• Strong grasp of testing methodologies and best practices in software development.

• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks, particularly Playwright.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Knowledge of RESTful API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman or similar.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.

• Experience in database testing and familiarity with SQL.

• Prior exposure to AI, FinTech, and Credit/Risk domains is preferred.
