This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate business processes, pinpoint automation opportunities, and design effective and scalable automation workflows.
• Design, develop, test, and implement end-to-end automation solutions utilizing the UiPath platform, encompassing UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robots.
• Create reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to expedite the development of future automation projects in line with DoW directives.
• Integrate UiPath with various government systems through APIs, web services, and database connections while following strict security protocols.
• Formulate and execute test plans, and troubleshoot automation solutions to guarantee their reliability and error-free operation.
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all automation solutions, which includes process design documents, solution design documents, and system security plans.
• Provide continuous support and maintenance for deployed automation, address issues, and implement enhancements as required.
• Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of RPA governance, ensuring all automation solutions adhere to DoW policies, coding standards, and deployment procedures.
• Manage the entire application lifecycle management (ALM) for automation solutions, from initial requests and requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and eventual retirement.
• Comply with the change control process for all production automations, ensuring that any updates or modifications are thoroughly tested, documented, and approved prior to deployment.
• Implement in accordance with RPA best practices, DoW development standards, and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure the quality and scalability of automation solutions.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment, working with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver successful automation projects.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Over 5 years of experience in Automation Engineering.
• Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Must have or be capable of obtaining DoD IAT 2 certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP).
• Proven hands-on experience with the UiPath platform, including UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and REFramework.
• Strong programming and scripting abilities in languages such as VB.NET, C#, or Python.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to comprehend complex business processes and design efficient automation solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) in a government or defense context.
