Software R&D Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Lead, nurture, and expand a team of software engineers focused on specialized software development, encompassing AI-integrated neurotechnology, industrial, and mobile application systems.

• Establish robust observability, incident management, and release pipelines to ensure high service availability and efficiency.

• Actively contribute to software design, architecture, implementation, and testing.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members.

• Represent the team in collaborations with other cross-functional teams.

• Assist in defining, monitoring, and executing performance goals.

• Develop the technical roadmap, select the appropriate tech stack, align engineering objectives with broader business goals, and oversee its management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior technical leadership position.

• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams.

• High proficiency and/or extensive experience with C#, C++, and Python.

• Familiarity with mobile development platforms, including iOS, Android, and Flutter.

• Expertise in API design, microservices, and data security.

• Significant experience with a successful track record in leading technology teams in software product development.

• Strong understanding of AI technologies and the capability to integrate AI/ML.

• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and observability.

• Expert understanding of general software engineering principles such as design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.

• A degree in computer science, applied mathematics, electronic engineering, or a related field.

• Proficient in written and spoken English (C1 level).

• Familiarity with neuroscience, industrial communication, and voice-driven user interaction technologies is advantageous.

• Experience with cloud-native services utilizing Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar technologies is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and DevOps practices is an added advantage.
