Software QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Conduct both manual and automated testing for the SaaS solution.

• Ensure extensive test coverage and maintain high-quality standards.

• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to maximize customer value.

• Work alongside testers and software engineers to technically enhance the product.

• Improve development practices.

• Analyze software bug reports and identify critical areas of concern.

• Partner with distributed teams to shape the product's future.

• Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to technical and process enhancements.

• Participate as a member of an Agile/Scrum team developing the Vimachem Pharma 4.0 Platform.

• Ensure that software deliverables comply with platform specifications and requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems.

• Over 2 years of professional experience in Software Testing/Test Automation.

• Knowledge of Software Quality and strategies for improvement.

• Interest in advancing test automation skills.

• Familiarity with established test automation frameworks in a fast-paced Agile setting.

• Passion for Cloud Architecture and the ability to choose appropriate architecture for various projects.

• Capability to identify issues (bugs) and provide detailed descriptions with necessary technical information.

• Experience with UI testing and API testing on RESTful Services (.NET).

• Solid understanding of .NET, C#, TypeScript, or other object-oriented programming languages.

• Strong accountability for testing activities and commitment to resolving issues.

• Inquisitiveness when requirements or expected behaviors are ambiguous.

• Keen attention to detail for identifying issues, inconsistencies, and edge cases.

• Effective communication and collaboration with QA, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Drive to continuously enhance QA skills, particularly in test automation.
