This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of interconnected projects or workstreams to guarantee alignment with programme objectives.

• Maintain a comprehensive, high-level overview of progress, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements across the programme.

• Assist in shaping the roadmap and programme-level planning in collaboration with Technical Leads and product/strategy stakeholders.

• Facilitate discussions among teams to ensure clarity on priorities, architectural considerations, and sequencing decisions.

• Lead delivery efforts employing Kanban and flow-based agile methodologies across one or more teams.

• Ensure visibility of work-in-progress, blockers, throughput, and upcoming priorities.

• Aid teams in balancing feature delivery, technical debt, architectural enhancements, and research/activity spikes.

• Promote continuous flow, minimizing bottlenecks and guaranteeing smooth transitions between delivery stages.

• Provide well-structured yet concise reporting that is suitable for programme sponsors and senior leadership.

• Monitor progress against objectives, milestones, and commitments across several workstreams.

• Document key decisions, risks, issues, and actions in a straightforward but traceable manner.

• Identify and manage programme-level risks, ensuring they are highlighted early and escalated as necessary.

• Coordinate dependencies across teams and vendors with clarity and urgency.

• Utilize a pragmatic and straightforward RAID process to maintain visibility and drive mitigation efforts.

• Assist teams in overcoming blockers that span technical or organizational boundaries.

• Serve as the primary coordination point for engineering, Technical Leads, internal stakeholders, and, when applicable, customers.

• Deliver updates on progress clearly, tailored to the audience—whether technical or non-technical.

• Demonstrated experience managing software delivery across multiple teams or workstreams.

• Strong grasp of flow-based agile delivery and programme-level planning.

• Proven capability to identify cross-cutting risks, significant dependencies, and structural blockers.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Confidence to operate in environments that prioritize structure while avoiding overly burdensome processes.

• A pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with the capability to provide clarity in uncertain situations.
